The bus has been a project for a while… As of July 25th (2010), it looks like this:
That’s just 4 bolts holding the engine to the transmission, some more bolts holding the engine to the frame, and a fuel line I’ve not taken off yet. It’ll be out of there soon…
Looking back through the photo archives, the last time I managed to wrench on the bus was about a year ago. July 9 (2009) shows me playing with the exhaust:
